Morning Reset is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle information in our app.
Morning Reset stores all user data — including streaks, session history, mood data, and preferences — locally on your device using AsyncStorage. This data never leaves your device except where required to generate AI coaching responses as described below.
Morning Reset uses Claude, an AI developed by Anthropic, to generate personalized coaching messages. To do this, your morning mood score, mission type, and streak count are transmitted to a secure Vercel-hosted proxy server and then to Anthropic's API. This data is used solely to generate your coaching response and is not stored beyond the duration of the request. Your data is not used to train AI models. No personally identifiable information — including your name or email — is transmitted to Anthropic.
Morning Reset uses PostHog to collect anonymous usage analytics including session completion rates and feature engagement. No personally identifiable information is collected. PostHog's privacy policy is available at posthog.com.
Morning Reset offers optional subscriptions through Apple's App Store. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information. Purchase data is managed by RevenueCat, which processes subscription status on our behalf in accordance with Apple's guidelines.
If you grant permission, Morning Reset schedules local notifications on your device to remind you of your morning protocol. These notifications are generated and stored locally on your device. No notification data is transmitted to external servers.
Morning Reset uses the following third-party services: RevenueCat for subscription management, Anthropic's Claude API for AI coaching via a secure proxy, and PostHog for anonymous analytics. Each service operates under its own privacy policy.
Morning Reset is not directed at children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with an updated date at the top of this page.
